Renaud has been introduced to the cinema industry in the early 2000. He graduated from the Conservatoire Libre du Cinema Français in Paris and started working as a fixer. That was when he had the chance to work with Raoul Peck (director of ‘I am not your Negro’ with Samuel.L.Jackson, ’Sometimes in April’ starring Idris Elba ; president of the prestigious national cinema school La Femis.)
Over the decade, Renaud became a highly appreciated and valuable assistant director. He worked on feature film sets in France, Rwanda, Haiti, Tadjikistan, where he had the opportunity to use his three best assets:
Dedication. Passion. Perfectionism.
In 2010 he decided to grab his camera to focus on his own filmmaking work, as he travelled to countries such as Brazil, India as well as many other countries around East Africa and Middle East.
Endless hours of footage have literally shaped his skills as a filmmaker.
In 2015, whilst travelling the Middle East, Dubai caught his attention. He then chose to settle down in the region and put his skills and expertise at the service of the city's filmmaking industry.
Renaud very quickly acquired a reputation of a perfectionist and talented film crafter in the luxury industry, and is now working with clients such as Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Panerai, Roger Dubuis, Bvlgari, Tag Heuer, Boucheron, Breitling, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Dior, Prada, Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, Louis Vuitton, Vogue Arabia, American Rag, Ferrari, Emaar, Deyaar, Piramal Realty.
